What can I do if my online payment failed?

There may be a few reasons why your online payment failed. Here are a few of the more common ones:

  1. Unfortunately, in some instances, cards issued by banks outside of the country may not work. It is advisable to contact the issuing bank to verify if the card is supported for online payments in this country.
  2. The payment technology we use is 3D Secure©
which ensures that your online payment is now even more secure.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept any cards that do not support this
security feature. Please contact your bank to enquire about activating
3D Secure© if your card does not currently support this.
  3. Please ensure your account has sufficient funds to pay for your order. If the payment is declined and you are confident that you have sufficient funds in your account, please contact your bank. (NOTE: You can still order online by selecting either the 'Cash on Delivery' or 'Pay at collect'
option if the store you are ordering from offers these options.)
  4. The OTP (One Time Pin) sent to you from your bank has not been entered correctly.
  5. The card details have been entered incorrectly. Please check that you have entered the following details correctly as they appear on the card:
  • The card holder’s name
  • The card number as it appears on the front of the card.
  • The expiry date as it appears on the front of the card.
  • The CVV number which is the last 3 digits as they appear on the back of the card.
